CleanPowerSF SuperGreen ShieldBecome a Clean Energy Super Hero with SuperGreen

CleanPowerSF offers customers an easy way to eliminate the carbon footprint from their electricity service with SuperGreen – 100% renewable energy.

As with all CleanPowerSF service, PG&E continues to deliver SuperGreen energy, maintain the power system and send you your monthly bill. Participation in SuperGreen is completely voluntary.

Small Premium. Big Impact.
CleanPowerSF SuperGreen customers pay the applicable Green rate plus a SuperGreen premium of 2 cents per kilowatt hour for residential accounts and 1.4 cents per kilowatt hour for commercial accounts.

For the average San Francisco residential customer, SuperGreen costs about $5 more per month. That’s a small investment with big returns for the environment and the local community. You can easily compare the latest CleanPowerSF Green and SuperGreen rates with PG&E generation rates on our Rates page.

Community over Profits – Building a Sustainable San Francisco

Because CleanPowerSF is a not-for-profit program, SuperGreen ratepayer funds will be reinvested locally in new renewable energy infrastructure, which will create jobs and stabilize energy prices. This is how we build a sustainable future for our City.
